AROC Report#
The AROC (Annual Return of Official Controls) report is used to compile food surveillance sampling data for submission to the EU. It is primarily used by Northern Ireland, which remains subject to EU food safety legislation, but the report is available to all authorities and may be useful for broader surveillance analysis.
On entering the AROC report, you are presented with the following view.

This view is divided into three main areas:
Date Range Filter
Authority/Group Filter
AROC Data Display Grid
Date Range Filter#
The date range filter selects defaults based on financial years, or the slider can be used for a custom range.

The two light blue boxes display the currently selected date range. The dark blue buttons select a range based on the full financial year.
Below this, use the range slider to select a range of months. Click and drag the handles at the ends of the range to adjust the selection.
Fetching Data#
Once a group has been selected, click Fetch to request data from the server. The Fetch button is disabled until a filter option is changed.
AROC Data Display Grid#
The data display grid shows the results of the requested data. Sample counts are broken down as follows:
Food Category — shown on the vertical axis at the left of the grid.
Test Category — shown on the horizontal axis at the top of the grid.
For each Food/Test category, two totals are shown:
The number of results returned.
The number of tests that failed under the criteria defined for the AROC report.
