Contaminants Report#

The Contaminants Report displays survey-based contaminants data collected as part of food surveillance programmes. It is primarily used by the Food Standards Agency to report sampling data to the EU, and is also available to Local Authority officers and management involved in taking the samples.

Filters#

Contaminants report filters

  • Survey Reference — select the specific survey programme to view. The survey list is maintained jointly by the FSA and MacLaren West. Historical surveys are shown below an archive separator in the list.

  • Date Sample Taken — filter by sample date range.

Data Columns#

The report grid uses grouped columns:

Fixed : UKFSS Sample Code (pinned), Local Authority, Survey Number

Programme : Programme ID, Legal Reference, Sampling Strategy, Method, Type

Sample : Sampler, Sampling Point, Sample Country, Year/Month/Day, Food Description, Material Code, Country of Origin

Laboratory : Lab ID, Lab Accreditation, Lab Country

Parameter : Parameter Code, Test Substance, Analysis Method, Method Type, Units

Result : Result ID, Accreditation Procedure, Unit, LOQ, Numeric Result, Result Value

Fish Surveys#

For surveys covering fish samples, two additional columns relating to fishing area are included but hidden by default. To show them, right-click any column header, select Choose Columns, and enable the fishing area columns.
