Confectionery - Chocolate |

Confectionery – Chocolate Type is to be used for products which consist of chocolate and other types of food including filled chocolates and chocolate liqueurs. It does not include chocolate coated fruits such as chocolate raisins which should be categorised as fruits. Easter eggs which consist of a chocolate “egg” alone should be included in the plain, milk or other chocolate types above as appropriate; filled easter eggs with other foods included in the chocolate such as Crème Eggs should be included in this type. Easter eggs which consist of a chocolate egg and separate sweets should be considered as two separate entities and recorded as two samples and allocated appropriate types for each part. |
